Our Philosophy

We believe that learning about personal finance doesn't have to be dry or boring. The best learning experiences in life happen when we are truly inspired, encouraged, and motivated by the instruction we receive. At the CEB we strive to conduct classes in a manner that connects with our audience and stimulates our listeners to take action. Having provided more than 1,200 personal finance classes, the CEB has worked with virtually every segment of the population and understands what it takes to facilitate effective education.

Improving our financial well being takes more than just hearing information. It's estimated that over 80% of fiscal responsibility comes down to behaviors instead of knowledge. Along with providing the most up-to-date and relevant information, the CEB also provides listeners with the impetus and tools needed to take the right actions.

Last fall, the Mental Health Association invited the Credit Education Bureau to present a workshop related to protecting the personal information of individuals. Twenty-seven people attended. The speaker was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to answer all of the questions presented to him. Overall, we were very pleased with the program and are planning to have the Credit Education Bureau back to address other pertinent topics."
