Monroe County invests in Driven2Success from CCCSR

Rochester, N.Y. — Monroe County Executive Adam Bello has announced new funding to help underserved communities with financial counselling to find affordable car loans. Through the American Rescue Plan Act, the Driven2Success program received more than $420,000.

"It's critical to invest in services like what's being offered at CCC's to help more people get reliable transportation to get to their job, keep their job, and have access to even better paying jobs," said County Executive Bello.

Each year, the program helps more than 2,500 individuals pay more than $18 million in debt, as well as connecting people with grant opportunities.
